Humankind, broke down, started killing each other
Thinking the attack was being made by their own enemies
Wars destroyed as many lives as plagues and famine
They didn´t get to see the world after the cataclysm
Even many of those who stood by the light of the flame

My days (are) coming to an end (in this body)
I managed to save many treasures (not of gold)
But of knowledge, of our past as a race

The poison that filled the air, water and earth
Although transparent, will take long to disappear
